Our welcoming congregation is seeking a skilled and passionate Director of Music to lead and grow our music ministry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead music for weekly services and special events.
- Weekly service includes contemporary worship and choir anthem.
- Direct choir and praise band rehearsals and performances.
- Collaborate with the Pastor and staff when selecting music.
- Select music that reflects the spirit of our congregation.
- Recruit and mentor singers and musicians
- Plan and direct Christmas and Easter concerts with the choir and additional instrumentalists.
Qualifications:
- Strong musical background.
- Experience directing choirs and praise groups.
- Knows and uses a variety of sacred music styles.
- Leadership and communication skills.
